PAL consoles are hard to find new, but the Japanese versions are still for sale boxed and brand new.
Is it the mainboard of the optical drive that makes the Gamecube a PAL or a NTSC version? I would like to buy a new Japanese Gamecube and set over the necessary hardware of my PAL version.
